A good shinshinto piece with late Edo period fittings. Good tsuba and menuki. It has a ko-kissaki with ko-maru. Hamon is based on notare with nie, ashi and tobiyaki. Tight masame hada.

Yasurime is higaki.

Saya is shimo pattern and newer made.

There are two kirikome (fighting marks) on the shinoji-ji.
